Keeping my kids away from holiday specials and making them do their homework
Guest post written by Barbara Long
I think that this time of the year is probably one of the toughest when it comes to parents and teachers. Kids are just really off the wall around this time of the year because they know that soon they'll get to do all kinds of fun things like open presents and not go to school in just a matter of days.
Well, I think that it's been really tough for me lately to not let the kids just sit in front of the TV and watch all of the exciting Christmas specials that are playing. So I told them that we would record them and once they're off from school they can watch as many as they want. I was looking online to see if I could find some info on other holiday specials to record and while I was doing that, I ran across some info on modern hearing devices. I showed them to my husband and after that he decided to go and get some hearing aids.
But my kids don't have too much longer before I'll let them watch Christmas specials all the time.
